These are not varietal wines, they are the distillation of a place, a time and a culture

This will be a most interesting Bordeaux and Burgundy tasting and discussion. The wines will include some nice Burgundies from 2001 and 2002 vintages, Morey Saint Denis and Gevrey Chambertin, including the superb 'La Romanee', a good line-up of Bordeaux including the brilliant 2005 Chateau Lynch Bages and the 100 point wine 1997 Chateau Yquem, one of the greatest Yquems of the past 40 years. These are not varietal wines, they are the distillation of a place, a time and a culture. Come and join us on Thursday 6th May
