The following information is for Chateau Branaire Ducru
“The wines of Branaire Ducru hava distictive character. For a St Juline they are particularly spicy, with an almost exotic aroma of spice, oak and vanilla. There is a distinctly chocolaty component on the palate. Thes personailty traits are especially noticeable in the great vintages of 2000, 1996 etc” Robert Parker

“Branaire Ducru is still somewhat underrated. The wines are never blockbusters, but their balance, freshness, and complex fruit combine to ensure that Branaire is one of the most enjoyable St Juliens." Stephen Brook in The Complete Bordeaux
