"good sign of quality and it also promises a great longevity. Soft and almost sweet tannins, that will give a lingering 'creamy' mouthfeel. The finish is clean, vivacious with aromas of coffee typical of the Chateau. This is a wine with a bright future and a wonderful personality. It is above second wine standard." 2008 VINTAGE

Didier Ters, French wine writer   June 2011 tasting. The wine appears very youthful and still shows a little austerity. This is a really good sign of quality and it also promises a great longevity. Soft and almost sweet tannins, that will give a lingering 'creamy' mouthfeel. The finish is clean, vivacious with aromas of coffee typical of the Chateau. This is a wine with a bright future and a wonderful personality. It is above second wine standard.
Fine fruity nose, spicy and very mineral, fleshy, also aromatic, still slightly firm tannins with a good balance. - Guide hubert - seconds vins des grands crus classes du medoc
2011 Bordeaux Tasting   Good bold colour showing a little maturity. The nose is bright and fresh with cassis and blackberry characters, some secondary characters starting to develop of coffee and charcutterie. It is grippy and more youthful on the palate, again fresh and lifted with good acidity and bright red fruits. At its best with food.
