"Perfumed wine, full of up-front red berry fruits, soft tannins and juicy, smoky acidity. It lacks depth, but is rich from the vintage, with an attractive, smooth aftertaste."

Located right in the Heart of l'Entre-Deux-Mers, the chateau offers a cuvee cabernet which are more than playing a second role. The result is fresh fruity wine with vanilla highlights, including tannins supporting a full flesh with spicy flavors.

A vineyard that traces its history back to 1290.

‘A particularity of the microclimate of De Fontenille is the constant wind, which certainly reduces the threat of disease and need to spray. The grapes are given some skin contact, fermented at cool temperatures, and aged three months sur lie. 'Stephen Brook.
