This 22-hectare estate is situated just 2km north-east of the town of Blaye and has been in the same family since 1850. Pierre and Béatrice Ardoin are the current generation looking after the Château since 1990. Since taking over, they have been restructuring the vineyard by matching varieties to each parcel, as well as rebuilding the cellar to include temperature-controlled vats and up-to-date equipment.

From their best parcels, you can see the estuary of the Gironde and the village of Margaux on the other side.

Château Tasting

Bright ruby colour, with a fragrant nose of cherries, ripe berries, vanilla, and smoky minerals. The palate shows a fine balance of acidity and fruit, with finely-grained tannins and fresh notes of berries and sweet spices, and lingers on during the lengthy finish.
