Vieux Château des Rocs is a fourth-generation property owned and managed by Guillaume Seize. It is situated on the limestone plateau in the heart of the AOC of Lussac. Its name takes its origin from the pure limestone rocks its vines are planted on.

Since taking over from his father in 2014, and after completing his Masters of Oenology and Environment, Guillaume has implemented a strategy of sustainable agriculture, with ploughing of the soils, use of cover crops, and minimal spraying.

Château Tasting   Deep ruby colour and a complex nose of ripe red and dark berries, with notes of coffee, mocha, and vanilla. The palate is silky, with finely-grained tannins, well-balanced acidity, and lovely flavour complexity. There is noticeable minerality, and great purity of fruit. This finishes with notes of sweet spices and lingers on.
